A Christmas Retrospective

Ahh...it has come and gone.
It's suppose to be the happiest season of them all, right?
I dunno, the cheer has certainly diminished as of late. I think I came online once, only to see things like "christmas sucks" because they didn't get the car they wanted or something. I dunno.

I remember in the past the all the anxiousness for it to be christmas.
Not only would I get cool stuff, I would be able to spend time with family--one of the
only joys in my life back then.

Now? It's all gone. All the feeling, all the cheer. I dunno why.
On the day, I was all about the house (I was on a root beer high ^_^) helping and horsing around with my cousins...but then the feeling faded the closer it got to Midnight on the Eve.
I think the gifts spoiled the moment. It's all "GIMME GIMME GIMME!!" the closer it comes to the stroke of 12.
I dunno, maybe gifts aren't really the way to celebrate this holiday....but I do
imagine it's a thrill if you got something good coming to you. *wink wink* ;)

In anycase, BRING ON THE NEW YEAR!!
...this year was extremely crappy for me...despite some good happenings.
It was a double sided blade....except the bad side was sharper....and it haunts...lol.
Oh noes!! MAKE it STOP!! =p
Hopefully, I'll be able to get drunk on irish liquor. Good stuff. ^_^
